Getting started

What does THENEKAS cost during early access?

Nothing. During early access THENEKAS is free, with daily limits, and no card is needed. Paid plans start later; you'll get notice before any charge.

How long does setup take?

You can work the first day. Create the company, add a truck and a driver, and drop a rate con: that's your first load. Bring the rest over from Excel or CSV when you're ready. Invoices, factoring and QuickBooks open once the company is verified with FMCSA, by a code sent to the email FMCSA has on file.

Can I bring my data from my current TMS or Excel?

Yes. Export your loads, drivers, and trucks and trailers from the system you use now as XLSX, XLS or CSV, and import them. Columns are matched by their names and you can change the match before anything is saved; load numbers already in THENEKAS are skipped. Fuel-card and toll exports go straight into settlements. The owner or the accountant runs the imports.

Do my drivers need an app from the app store?

No. The driver app works in the phone's browser: the driver opens your invite and signs in with their phone number. Our native iOS and Android apps are coming.

Pricing & plans

How are plans priced?

By active trucks, with every TMS feature in every plan (truck navigation is Map Pro, $20 a driver, sold separately): Free for 1 truck, Starter for 2–7, Fleet for 8–20, Carrier for 21–40 and Large for 41–60. Plans differ only by trucks, file storage and daily limits. Over 60 trucks, Enterprise is priced by agreement. Invoices, factoring and QuickBooks open on any plan once the company is verified with FMCSA. See the price list.

What counts as a truck?

A truck in use: active or in the shop. Trucks you mark inactive or sold don't count, and trailers never do.

Do trailers, drivers or office users cost extra?

No. Trailers are free, and every plan has unlimited users: dispatchers, after-hours, accounting, safety, fleet managers and drivers, each with their own sign-in and a position with its own rights.

What if I need one more truck than my plan allows?

Add an extra truck for $10 a month ($8 billed yearly) instead of moving up a plan. When you add a truck past your limit, we show both totals and mark the cheaper one. Nothing is charged until you click.

What happens when I add a second truck on Free?

Once paid plans start, adding a second truck on Free starts a 14-day trial of Large, up to 60 trucks, with no card. At the end you choose a plan, or keep one active truck on Free.

How much do I save by paying yearly?

20%. Starter is $55 a month billed yearly ($660 a year) instead of $69 a month, and an extra truck is $8 a month instead of $10.

Is there a free map or navigation for drivers?

No. Truck routes and navigation come only with Map Pro: $20 a driver a month, bought on the site and billed monthly, never part of a plan. Map Pro runs in our iOS and Android driver app, which is coming. You put it on a driver's card and move it to another driver when one leaves.

What happens when we run out of file storage?

New uploads stop until there's room again. Nothing is deleted, and every file you have stays open and downloadable. Delete papers you no longer need, or write to us about more room.

Can I cancel and take my data with me?

Yes. Once paid plans start, the owner cancels any time; the plan runs to the end of the period already paid, then the company moves to Free. Nothing is deleted for cancelling or for a missed payment. Loads, reports, receivables, the IFTA worksheet and the safety register download as CSV, and invoices, settlements and factoring packets as PDF.

Drivers

How do drivers sign in?

With their phone number, a password and a code sent by text; US and Canada numbers work. You send the invite from the driver's card, by text or by email.

Do drivers see the rate and the rate con?

Drivers see where, when and what to haul, and only their own loads. The rate and the rate per mile show only if the owner turns that on in Settings; it is one switch for all of the company's drivers. The rate con itself stays in the office: the driver app never shows it.

What if a driver forgets to mark a stop?

The office sets or fixes the time on the load card, and the change goes into the load's history. A tap the phone sends late keeps the time it was made.

Brokers & tracking

What does the broker see?

A private link per load: the stops and appointment times, the stop times as the driver marks them, the driver's and the dispatcher's names with a Call button, and the papers you tick (BOL, POD, lumper). Never the rate or the rate con. The link ends 72 hours after the last drop, or when the load is cancelled. Live position and ETA start with our iOS and Android driver apps (coming).

Can the broker get status emails?

Yes. Turn them on for a load and up to three broker addresses get an email at each step: dispatched, on the way, arrived, loaded, unloaded and delivered, with the tracking link. Never the rate, the pay, the driver's phone or your notes.

Do tracking links cost extra?

No. Tracking links for brokers are included in every plan, like every other feature.

Security

How do people sign in?

With an email or phone, a password and then a 6-digit code to the email or by text, every time. Or with a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a security key), or with Google or Microsoft, which ask for a second step on a device you haven't used before. A sign-in from a new device also sends you an email.

Who sees what inside my company?

Each person has a position: owner, fleet manager, dispatcher, after-hours, accountant, safety or driver. The owner can change any right on one person's card, like view only, only their own loads or seeing rates. The server checks every request, so what a person can't open on the screen is refused by the server too.

Can anyone change the activity log?

No. Every change is recorded with who made it and when, and the database refuses to change or delete an entry while the company exists. Not even the owner can rewrite it.

Where is our data kept, and do you sell it?

The site runs on Cloudflare's network, and your company's data is kept in the eastern United States. Files are encrypted at rest by the storage provider. We never sell your data, use it for advertising or use it to train general AI models. More on the Security page.

How do I report a security problem?

Pick “A security question” in the form above and tell us what you found and how to see it. Please give us time to fix it before you tell anyone else. The Security page says what to include.

How do I ask for a copy or the deletion of my information?

Requests about your information can go through the form or to contact@thenekas.com; we verify who you are before we answer. The Privacy Policy lists your rights.

Integrations

Do you connect to QuickBooks?

Yes, QuickBooks Online. The owner connects it in Connections: invoiced loads go over as invoices and their payments follow, closed settlements go as bills to the driver and paid expenses as purchases, into the accounts you map. It opens once the company is verified with FMCSA.

Do you work with EDI?

Yes, with files today. The owner sets up your EDI id and each trading partner. A broker's 204 tender becomes a load with one Accept, or is turned down with Decline; the 990 answer, the 214 stop updates and the 210 invoice are written for you. The files move by upload and download in the workspace.

What about my ELD or factoring company?

For TT ELD, save your API key in Connections today; the sync is coming. For any other ELD or factoring company, the owner presses Request in Connections or types one we don't list, and we work on getting access from that company. Factoring packets and schedules are PDFs, so they already go to any factoring company. Not using THENEKAS yet? Ask with the form above. What's connected and what's planned is on the Integrations page.

Or just start.

Create the company, drop a rate con, invite one driver. Free during early access. THENEKAS is operated by King Karom Inc., a New York corporation.
